The Gizmoplex officially opens to the public in May, but as a backer I got an invitation a little earlier.
So, what is it? The Gizmoplex is not a traditional streaming service, like Netflix, it's more of a delivery system for new episodes and shorts, with additional goodies thrown in, special events, and the curated classic episodes.
I compare it more to what the Mads are doing, where I spend around $147 a year for a livestream and a download each month hosted (usually) at Youtube. What's different with MST is that I'm getting a virtual theater dedicated to showing new episodes or shorts every two weeks, and a place to house and organize my purchases or freebies.
The new content is what I'm most interested in, and I pledged $85 to get a year's worth of that, which is not too shabby. I own all the MST episodes on disc anyway, and I can stream many of them at a variety of places, from tubi to Shout to Youtube and more. So, I look at the 6 curated classics, grouped by theme each month, as a cute addition - it's not why I signed on, but it's a fun little side dish.

And that's all I had back then - but now it's gone, the virtual theater went first, and as of Sept 2026, the last vestige of the Gizmoplex shuttered it doors as well. But I saved a few images while it was open, standees and whatnot. Ticket art, vault pick-Synthia Selects art, and other screenshots were posted on the individual pages, but here are a few other bits and pieces I collected and saved...
